Base search criteria are used to filter the cases you wish to report on. For example, if you are only interested in cases that are closed human exposures, the criteria builder is where you will define that search criteria.
Note: The terms “Base Search Criteria” and “Query Conditions” are similar in that they both are part of defining which cases are returned from the database. However, keep in mind that “Query Conditions” are embedded within a query and are ALWAYS applied when using that particular query. This concept is discussed in further detail under the XXX section of this documentation.
