v4.7.20 June 26, 2012 Revision History

      System Table Updates

Toxicall® System Tables can be configured to automatically check for System Tables update such as Generic Codes and Zip Codes.

Generic Codes and other system tables can now be updated over the Internet or through file distribution.

§ Toxicall® must be upgraded for this latest version to receive the latest Generic Codes scheduled to ship in the June version of Micromedex®. Future Generic Codes updates can be received using the new update capabilities.

Added ability for CAS to provide ongoing updates to Zip Codes information. New zip codes will be made available without the need for Toxicall® upgrades.

      Better handling of network interruptions

If connectivity is lost to the SQL Server, Toxicall® provides a more graceful recovery and continuation if the network is restored. This corrects issues such as "General Network Error" which was experienced as a result of intermittent but quick network outages.

Toxicall® License can now be submitted through CAS Web Server

This eliminates the need to email the license renewal file. A Toxicall® supervisor can now send the license file directly to our support team and load a new license file from within Toxicall®. This process must be initiated manually as we do not attempt to automatically adjust Toxicall® license files.

Support for SQL Server Integrated Security

Allow Active Directory Login credentials for validation to the SQL Server database.

      Micromedex® Lookups

Improved Response Time.

Only display Micromedex® search options popup window if only the Internet/Intranet version is configured which allows search options.

      Toxicall® case resize

Resizing the case window has been re-written.

New option to reset the Case Window layout.

      Recent Cases Window

Improved searching of phone numbers

Added button to clear search criteria.

Added ability to press ENTER to initiate a search.

Display number of cases found based on search results.

Show sorting information using color column headers.

      Reports

Updated report 62 to correctly count zip codes. Previously, Zip-4 entries were marked as invalid.

      Export Cases

Added option to export cases without carriage returns. This will allow data to be imported into products like Microsoft Excel without formatting issues.

      Lab Module

Require lab date entry first. This will allow the lab to be saved immediately if the case must be quick saved and updated later.

Display lab entries by Lab Date in the trending report.

Lab Trending report no longer requires a separate page, saving paper when printed.

More robust writing of lab information to case delta reports for better tracking.

Corrected Lab Trending report for cases with 6, 12, 18, etc. lab entries.

      Image Support for Toxicall® Notes

When an image is pasted into the Open Notes area, the image is automatically extracted and stored as a linked case file. This allows the image to be viewed from within Toxicall® but minimizes the problems encountered with the size of the image being stored in the notes area.

If the Linked Cases are not already configured at the workstation a default folder named “LinkedCaseFiles” will be used directly below your configured system database location. This folder must be created manually or cases cannot be uploaded to the network.

      Custom Displays

Automatic handling of From statement to allow data from multiple Toxicall® Tables.

Added ability for more flexible custom displays.

      Installation Updates

Default to Jet 4 drivers.

§ Toxicall® will now default to the Jet 4.0 drivers eliminating the need to install any MDAC drivers for workstation installation. Please note that if you use Microsoft Access 97 for separate data analysis you must continue to use the Jet 3.51 driver or upgrade to a newer version of Microsoft Access.

Support for silent installation.

§ Allow Toxicall® to be installed in an unattended mode (without user interaction) for IS departments who want to automate the deployment of Toxicall®.

Windows 7 installations

§ Better handling of Windows 7 installations by assigning user rights at workstation level.

Uses Microsoft Windows Installer to comply with new Microsoft installation standards.

      Miscellaneous

Allow use of Quick Search tool bar with Reports.

Corrected issues with F7 notes popup window.

Removed data for the AreaCodes.txt file to eliminate validation which causes problems with increased cell phone usage.

Updated the Calendar pop-up window to allow resizing. This will support Large Fonts when configured in Windows.

Other usability enhancements.

      RADARS*

Added RADARS system searches to Toxicall®.

§ These searches can be updated over the internet when new criteria are released.

Added QuickSearch Toolbar pre-configured with RADARS searches

*RADARS is owned by Denver Health and Hospitals and is not affiliated with Computer Automation Systems, Inc. Searches are only provided for convenience and all clients must confirm the criteria will meet their contractual submission needs.
