This option allows a Supervisor to unlock cases. Cases become locked when they are opened on a user’s workstation. Locking maintains data integrity by not letting two users make changes to the same case at the same time. If a case is unlocked, and sent back up to the network from another workstation that had it open, that case will overwrite any changes made by other users in the meantime. Therefore, whichever case was sent up to the network last becomes the new version.
