A database administrator (DBA) will need to be contacted to create a new database on the appropriate SQL Server® instance. (This may or may not be the same instance where your TOXICALL® network database is stored).
Once the database has been created a DBA will need to run the “ScriptNewToxiNetSQL.sql” script on the database to create the appropriate table structures within the database. The script file can be found on any workstation where a current version TOXICALL® is installed in the following location: “C:\Program Files\CAS\Toxicall\Scripts\MSSQL Scripts”
After the script has been ran the database will now contain the proper table structures.
Now that the database has been created and the proper data table structures have been added, your DBA will need to provide the following items for use in configuring TOXICALL® to see the new archive:
• Server Name
• Database Name
• Login
• Password
In our example this information is as follows (example only):
• Server Name: CASSQL
• Database Name: Archive_2008_Toxicall
• Login: ToxicallUser
• Password: ToXiCaLL12345
