Set Case Start Date to Current Date/Time 

This is used when retroactively entering cases, or if a case window was already open and a call has just come in causing the user to have to ‘come back’ to the original case. To set an open case Start Date/Time to the Current Date/Time, Click the button. Select ‘Yes’ to “…Change the case time to right now.”

To set an open case start Date/Time retroactively, click the lookup button, next to Start Date, and a calendar window will be displayed.  Set to the appropriate date by using the arrow keys next to month and year and clicking the correct date on the calendar. Then set the time using the arrows or by typing in the time in the box.  Be sure to put an ‘a’ or ‘p’ at the end if you are not using military time style. Click OK.
