NOTE: TOXICALL® versions 4.7.20 and higher by default utilize the JET 4.0 drivers and do NOT require the installation of MDAC drivers. Unless there is a specific need to utilize the JET 3.51 drivers, we recommend all new installations use the default JET 4.0 driver set.
The Microsoft® Data Access Component drivers are designed to allow toxiCALL(R) to properly communicate with the Access databases included with the application. For older workstations where performance may be an issue, we recommend downloading and installing the MDAC 2.0 drivers. These drivers will allow toxiCALL(R) to utilize the JET 3.51 driver set and reduce the load on system resources. (See the “Installing Database Drivers” portion of this document.)
Alternatively, if the workstation where toxiCALL(R) will be installed is a modern day model, we suggest bypassing the MDAC driver installation and using the default JET 4.0 driver set.

The browser will ask you if you would like to open or save the file. Select “Save” and save the file to the workstation’s local hard drive in a location where you can easily access it for installation.
Alternatively you may save the file to a shared network location or “thumb drive” if you are not at the workstation you will be installing toxiCALL®. If you choose to save the file to a shared network location or “thumb drive” remember that we strongly recommend that you copy the file to the local workstation prior to installation to help reduce any data transfer errors that may result from a network or other “external” installation source.
