Keycuts are shortcuts that can be used in the Open Notes field of the Case Entry window and can contain commonly entered data or site-specific data. For example, a site might use a keycut for instructions for bee stings or for questions to be asked in drug information calls. Entries can be created, modified or deleted. New keycuts can also be created by users with appropriate rights from the Case Entry window, for more information, see the User manual section on Keycuts.
To create a new keycut using the Keycuts table, open the system table to the new entry screen. Assign a name for the keycut which will appear in the Keycuts lookup table in the Case Entry screen. Enter the text as you would like it to appear in the Open Notes field. Lastly, save, close and release the table as explained in the Adding a New Entry section.
