The purpose of this document is to walk users through the process of enabling the phone history functionality, configuring associated displays, and how to use the features included properly.
The phone history functionality allows users to recall past caller, patient, and PMD information based on stored phone numbers and their associated data. Additionally, the phone history functionality consists of an “Online Phone Lookup” feature that allows users to pull the name and address information of a given phone number using an online database. The “Online Phone Lookup” functionality is NOT a free service included with TOXICALL® and requires a separate purchase with an online data provider. See note below.
NOTE: The “Online Phone Lookup” is a purchased service through “TARGUSinfo” and is not a free service provided by Computer Automation Systems, Inc. Any poison center that desires the use of the “Online Phone Lookup” functionality will need to purchase a contract with TARGUSinfo® separate from any agreements with Computer Automation Systems, Inc. Once the contract is purchased the poison center will be provided with the proper user name and password to access the online database and bring information into TOXICALL® charts.
