How to Enable Online Phone Service

NOTE: TARGUSinfo® is no longer accepting contracts with individual poison centers. If you already use TARGUSinfo® Online Phone Service with TOXICALL®, CAS will continue to provide support as needed.

As stated in the introduction of this document, the “Online Phone Lookup” functionality is NOT a free service provided by Computer Automation Systems, Inc. The “Online Phone Lookup” functionality is designed to work in conjunction with TARGUSinfo® to aid poison centers in retrieving the most up to date caller, patient, and PMD data for TOXICALL® charts. To enable the Online Phone Service Lookup functionality you will need to complete the following steps:

Start TOXICALL® and log in as a supervisor.

Click “Tools” from the menu bar and select “Configuration…” to open the “Toxicall® Configuration” window.

Click on the “More System Config…” button to open the “Toxicall® More System Configuration” window.

Locate the “Online Phone Service” area located in the lower right hand area of the window.

Fill in the “User ID”, “Password”, and “Service ID” field with the appropriate information provided to you by your contract with the appropriate online phone lookup company.

Once you have the appropriate fields populated, press the “Save” button on the “Toxicall® More System Configuration” window to save the changes.

Press the “Save” button on the “Toxicall® Configuration” window.

TOXICALL® will prompt to exit. Press OK and allow the data transfer process to complete.
