If “Get Network Case Number” is set to “Yes”, new cases are given a full case number from the network database. This feature is useful for those centers that desire all new cases to have a “real” case numbers upon initial creation.
If “Get Network Case Number” is set to “No”, the cases will have a negative number while stored on the local database. (Network case numbers are always positive.) Once the case is saved to the network database, it will be given the next available network case number.
