While within toxiCALL® you can initiate a search by typing in the verbatim field of the toxiCALL® case entry window. Use the following steps to initiate a MICROMEDEX® search from within toxiCALL®:

1.  Start the toxiCALL® application.

2.  Open an existing case or create a new case.

3.  Locate the verbatim field and enter the desired substance. For example “Mr. Clean” is used in the following image.

4.  Once the substance is entered, press the enter key to initiate the search. Depending on your configuration toxiCALL® will launch the appropriate lookup source to perform the product lookup.

Note: If your configured lookup source is currently unavailable toxiCALL® offers the ability to lookup information using an alternative source by using the “3-dot” button to the right of the verbatim field. See the section “Specifying the MICROMEDEX® Source and Lookup Type” for more detail.
