One feature that you may find to be very helpful while saving the poison center money on online lookups is the “Automatic Lookup” configuration option.
As mentioned in the configuration portion of this document, the Online Phone Lookup can be configured to automatically perform an online lookup on already stored historical data if the local data is over a certain amount of days old.
The ability to set this option will assist poison centers in maintaining up to date data while preventing unnecessary online data queues.
