The “Automatic Lookup” check box is used to either enable or disable TOXICALL® from performing an automatic lookup on phone numbers entered into a chart. If you desire the SPI to manually press the lookup button when necessary leave this check box unchecked.
If the “Automatic Lookup” box is checked the “Data Older than (optional) Days” field becomes available for edit. The field is used to specify how many days to wait before a repeat phone number will be queued again to refresh the data. For example if a caller calls the poison center and the phone number provided resides in the network database but is older than 30 days, if the Automatic Lookup option is set to 30, the program will automatically re-queue the information from the online source to make sure it is up to date.
