The Access version drop down allows the selection of which driver toxiCALL® will use to connect to the local Access databases. In the example above the JET 4.0 option has been selected and is the default selection for any new installations of toxiCALL® v4.7.20 and later.
Note: Before choosing to set your Access Version type, it is important to understand:
•It is not possible to view Access 2000 databases using Microsoft Office 97
•The drivers required to use the JET 4.0 this option are shipped with Windows®. However, if your site has not installed the appropriate version of Microsoft® Access, it will not be possible to view raw data tables using Access.
•If you have decided to use the JET 4.0 drivers (Access 2000), and later decide to use the JET 3.51 drivers, it will be necessary to recreate the local database to ensure the database is the proper format.
